Thank you! I am very proud and very happy to inform you that I passed the July bar exam and I am a recent admittee to the California State Bar. I owe my success to you, Shari Karney and the Karney Writing Course/BARWINNERS.

Before enrolling into BARWINNERS’, I had taken several bar courses, including Bar/Bri and a private tutor. BARWINNERS not only taught me the law but it taught me how to couch the law and facts the way the bar examiners want to read it. Professor Karney and the whole team at BARWINNERS gave me an approach to use in order to master the bar. In July, I used the BARWINNERS Approach not only on the essays, but the performance exam and the multistate as well. After attending the first class at BARWINNERS, I said to one of my colleagues, “If I would have knows about this course and taken it the first time, I would have passed.”

While I don’t know my scores, I knew coming out of each exam day that I KICKED SERIOUS ASS on the essays and performance, with my only doubt being the MBE.

I PASSED THE JULY 2010 BAR EXAM THE 1ST TIME! Whew! Especially since I wasn't able to fit into my law school schedule all the subjects tested on the CA Bar Exam. As SBA President at Loyola, I was very involved in putting on events, activities, and in organizations like PILF. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your motivation and assistance in preparing for the February exam. I was in full agreement that in studying for the July Bar most of my time was spent going to classes and not memorizing the law in the manner you described. However, I am going to Staples to pick up a Calendar and colored index cards to begin the process you described. I think this will give me greater focus and I feel a great deal more positive about being able to successfully pass the February Bar. Thanks again and I will definitely give you a call if I run into a problem logistically or with motivation.
