"After taking Barwinners, I walked in to the bar exam feeling like one of the most prepared people in the room. Because of Shari Karney’s comprehensive and direct approach to exam preparation, when I took the exam I knew exactly what the bar wanted from me. She breaks down the materials in a manageable way and teaches you how to “Answer the Questions.” During the exam itself, there were no guessing games or panic attacks. With Barwinners course, the exam is de-mystified. I strongly believe that armed with Shari’s techniques, ANYONE can successfully take and pass the California bar exam."
Danielle Dumont, Attorney, Loyola Law School

“My husband took BARWINNERS in preparation for the February, 2007 Bar Exam, his fourth attempt. I don’t know if people are aware of the effects this exam has on wives and families—the arduous preparation, the anguished waiting period, and if one doesn’t pass, the disappointment, sadness, grief, frustration, and the knowledge of ‘doing it all over again.

Well, this time around was different. With BARWINNERS and under Shari’s care, my husband was able to break free of old patterns and habits that were preventing him from passing the bar.

The entire staff at BARWINNERS pushed him, intellectually, mentally, and emotionally with care and concern. It is with great happiness for him and for our family, that May 2007 brought us wonderful news. Our love and gratitude to all.”
Kate Silverman, spouse of four-time Bar taker

“Thank heavens I searched Goggle and found BARWINNERS!! Your Approach Book was the best; it was my ‘Bar Bible’! I passed the Bar the first time. I am now practicing law at the DA’s office. I love it and I love you. Thank You, Shari.”
David Singer, Attorney, Chapman Law School

“Even though I am deaf, do not speak English that well, and didn’t even go to a very good law school, Shari, you got me through the Bar— If I can do it, so can others. I will be forever grateful to you, and BARWINNERS the rest of my life.”
Lyn Nguyen, Attorney, La Verne School of Law

“The first time I took the Bar, I should have taken BARWINNERS but I didn’t. I was too afraid to do something different than my law school friends and I signed up for the big bar review course in my first year when I didn’t know anything. I ended up a huge lecture hall with 5,000 other panicky Bar takers. It was awful. I wasn’t allowed to ask questions, interact and there was almost NO FEEDBACK ON MY WRITING. There were just too many people for anybody to notice or care about me.

My worst fear came true I failed the Bar. The second time, I found myself watching Bar review videos for six hours a day because the live lecture site was full. I should have taken Shari’s course the first time. It would have saved a year and a half of my life going through this Bar hell. Be smart. My motto is ‘Take Shari Karney’s Course (BARWINNERS) the first time so you don’t have to take the Bar again.’ "
Brett Ward, Attorney, Whittier College of Law

“I’ve always had problems with standardized tests, but after taking your four-day MBE course I scored a 155 on the MBE thanks to BARWINNERS!!!. Incredible! I’ve told all my law school friends that they must be insane not to take BARWINNERS.”
Sharma Eshraghi, Attorney, Pepperdine Law School

"I was in the bottom half of my class at UWLA. I took BARWINNERS, did everything you told me to do Shari, and I passed THE FIRST TIME FROM UWLA. Very few people from my school, in the bottom half of the class pass. It was a miracle. You are a wonderful woman and teacher. You held my hand when I needed it, and gave me a swift kick in the pants when I needed that too. Thank you. You've given the rest of the students at my school hope. They figured if I could do it they can too."
Robert Davon, Attorney, University of West Los Angeles School of Law.

"You may recall that following my automobile accident, and resultant head trauma, I thought practicing law was out of reach for me because prior higher learning had been erased so well and I was already nearly finished with law school. Fortunately, medical science was able to fully restore my brain and you restored my lost learning. In fact, you may recall, that I was unable to take a few bar classes in school due to the accident. I relied solely upon your superb outlines, lectures, and study materials to teach me those subjects. Add that to your proven test-taking techniques and voila tout! I passed!"I wrote my exam using BARWINNERS' Approach Book--the exact headings, exact rules. I just applied the facts. This nightmare is over, thanks to you. Oh, I made my first court appearance as a trial attorney yesterday. I think I smiled the entire time.”
Belle Peuget, Attorney, Whittier Law School

"I was dreading getting started on the studies for the California Bar Exam. I was not just dreading the material but my concern was also the money that I had to borrow and spend to take a review course and the two months I had to take off work to read what I had read and understood over and over again.

I graduated from a topnotch law school and did not think I needed to go the extra mile to pass this exam. After taking two different review courses and failing, I was very skeptic about taking another prep course. An attorney friend had suggested Shari's course to me when I was preparing for the second and the third time, but I thought I scored so close to passing and making the second review a couple of times that I did not need to pay more money to pass. I dismissed the suggestion and studied for the third round on my own. I confronted the material, studied many hours and thought that I had done it. To my disappointment, I made the review again but the score was not good enough to pass the Bar. I cried and naturally blamed the failure on everything but me. I have never been a quitter so I decided that now I was at war with this bar and this time I wanted to equip myself with the best weapon. I called up my attorney friend and asked for Shari's number. I admit that was the best decision I ever made and I regret I waited so long. I borrowed money again and got on Shari's PASSING list.

Shari's course was undeniably the reason I passed the February, 2006 California Bar exam. The February 06 exam was the most difficult of the four California Bar exams I took. Shari's material was excellent and the most relevant material for my preparation to face this beast. Her method and most importantly her attitude was so vibrant and fun that I found myself looking forward to our late afternoon classes. Moreover, I got the personalized attention to this exam that was required for me to pass this exam, i.e she really kicked my behind and woke me up.

So thank you, thank you and many more thank yous to you both. I could not have done it without your material, your expertise, your support and your attention."
Haley Aghchayah, Attorney, U.C.L.A.

"I had taken the Bar 5 times prior to coming across your name on the Internet. You are the best Bar Review course out there because of the tremendous attention; feedback; enthusiasm; experience and genuine concern extended to every student at BARWINNERS.”
Armen Sarkisian, Attorney, Glendale College of Law

“I PASSED THE BAR THE FIRST TIME!!! When I took the Bar, I found myself thinking, ‘that exact question was given in BARWINNERS during a simulated exam!’ I was amazed how on-target you were. Thank you for always believing in me when I lost hope myself.”
Amy Choi, Attorney, Southwestern Law School

“I had so much fun in your class, that when I sat for the Bar I actually enjoyed taking it. I know this sounds crazy but it’s true. I didn’t take any of the questions personally and I realized that they were not about me. Now I understand when you say in class, don’t take this Bar personally. I’ll miss seeing you Shari and being in BARWINNERS. It was one of the best experiences of my life.”
Jason Lichtenstein, Attorney, Pepperdine

“I was worried about the Performance test. I’ve never been that great of a writer and was a very average student in law school. I passed the Bar the first time with BARWINNERS. YOU ARE THE BEST!"
Mark Johnson, Attorney, Western State School of Law

“I’ve been a practicing attorney in New York for 25 years. I thought passing the California Bar would be easy. After having failed the Attorney’s Bar twice—embarrassingly the Performance Test was my downfall. (Thank heavens my assistant goggled you). I supervise 65 attorneys and absolutely had to pass this Bar. I made it with BARWINNERS. For attorneys out there who need to pass the Bar, take BARWINNERS. Don’t even think of taking anyone else."
Thomas Griffin, Attorney, Partner, Top Ten Law Firm in United States.

“In my past attempts to pass the Bar I did not even make it to re-read. After taking BARWINNERS, you put me over the top! Thanks!” BARWINNERS has what it takes to put you over the top.”
Ben Nakatani, Attorney, Glendale College of Law

“Before I took BARWINNERS, I didn’t think I had much hope in passing the Bar. Shari, you turned my discouragement an around. You are a delight and just what I needed to pass. You made me believe that I CAN DO IT! I CAN PASS THE BAR. If there is a struggling repeater who would like to hear about BARWINNERS, please give them my number. Thank you again for what you have done for me.”
Maria Perez, Attorney, Southwestern Law School

“I took the Bar Exam twice before I took your course. On my previous attempts I had done well on the MBE and on the Performance Tests. The Essays killed me. With your course, I learned exactly what the Bar Essay graders wanted to see on the page and I passed the Bar on my third attempt. Thank you so much.”
John O’Neil, Attorney, University of Southern California

“Thank you for seeing me for who and what I am. You unlocked my hidden talent. I tend to stay quiet instead of stepping forward. I am often overlooked in my classes. Thank you for teaching me how to mold my writing to ‘give them what they want.’ The reality is slowly sinking in, and I am feeling freer every day. You are an inspiration and I will always keep a place in my heart for you and what you did for me. No one has ever taken such interest in me, to help me reach my dream. Thank you. I am going to miss seeing you Shari.”
Jeremy Blackstone, Attorney, Loyola Law School
